Membership
What is KCAU SACCO?
KCAU SACCO is a Savings and Credit Co-operative dedicated to empowering members through financial stability, growth and opportunity.
Who is eligible to join KCAU SACCO?
Membership is open to individuals affiliated with KCA University, including staff, students and alumni, as well as members of the community interested in financial growth.
How do I join?
Apply online through our membership application form, or download the membership form from Downloads and submit it at our office with the required documents.
Is there a referral reward?
Yes. You earn KES 1,000 for every person you refer who pays their share capital.
Savings
What types of accounts are available?
We offer the Member Deposit Account for regular monthly savings and the Fixed Savings Account, where you save a set amount (from KES 1,000 a month) for at least 6 months and earn 7% per annum.
How do I deposit money?
Use M-PESA Paybill 754614 with your membership number as the account number, or through salary check-off.
Loans
What loan products do you offer?
Normal, Long Term, Emergency, School Fees, Log Book, Fanikisha, Saidika, Zidisha and Karibu loans, plus the Dividend Advance. See the Loans page for a side-by-side comparison.
How much can I borrow?
Most loans allow you to borrow up to 4 times your deposits, subject to each product’s maximum and your ability to repay (you must retain at least one third of your salary as net pay).
Which loan does not need guarantors?
The Saidika Loan (up to KES 50,000) needs no guarantors — only your payslip. It is secured by your deposits.
How are interest rates calculated?
Most loans charge interest monthly on a reducing balance, so you pay interest only on the amount still owed. Use the loan calculator for an estimate.

How do I access the Member Portal?
Click “Member Login” at the top of any page. If you have trouble logging in, contact the office and we will help you reset your access.
